Play an I-Gap game eliciting names, countries and nationalities. For example: a) "This is David Beckham, He's from...".  b) He's British... What's his name?".  c) "She's from New Delhi... She's...?".  Have students practice being in the Hot Seat. "What's your name?" "What's my name?  My name is X", etc.</text>

      <text>Use a map of the world.  Focus on countries, continents, and nationalities.  Aim to stretch the student by having them guess nationalities, using familiar word endings.  For example: "He's from India... He's Indian". She's from America"... (elicit: "She's American").  "These 2 people are from Italy"... (elicit: "They're Italian"). "This person is from Ireland"... (try to elicit: "Irish"). Other countries/nationalities could include: Australia(n); Mongolia(n); Russia(n); Argentina/ian; etc. Have student use these words in sentences.  Example:  Which country is this?  "It's Canada."  "Where is France?"  "France/It's in Europe."  "That's China!" (not China))</text>
